Additionally, PM Modi awarded certification to over 30,000 self-help groups under the Krishi Sakhi (Agriculture Friend) certification. The PM-KISAN scheme supports farmers with an annual financial assistance of ₹6,000 distributed in three instalments of ₹2,000 each, every four months.

17th Instalment Released from Varanasi:
So far, 16 instalments have been released. On 18 June 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 17th instalment. After the formation of the Modi 3.0 government, PM Modi decided to release the next instalment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi. The 16th instalment was released by PM Modi from Yavatmal district in Maharashtra on 28 February 2024.

Honourable Prime Minister Mr @narendramodi transferred the 17th instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme today from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Through this, approximately ₹20,000 crore has been transferred to the bank accounts of 9.26 crore beneficiary farmers via DBT.
