The Indian Navy expressed deep sorrow over the death of Lt Vinay Narwal, who was killed in the terror attack.

Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), and all Navy personnel extended condolences to Narwal’s family.

"We are shocked and deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Lt Vinay Narwal, who fell to the dastardly terror attack in Pahalgam. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family during this moment of unimaginable grief."

The Navy also expressed solidarity with all victims’ families and prayed for the recovery of the injured.

5. Amit Shah Visits Srinagar, Meets Survivors

Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Srinagar on Tuesday night to assess the security situation following the attack.

Wreath-laying ceremony held at the Police Control Room for the 26 victims.
